The Journey of a Sermon
2m read
“And the standard-bearers who have fallen in death, are to speak through the reprinting of their writings. I am instructed that thus their voices are to be heard. They are to bear their testimony as to what constitutes the truth for this time.”-Counsels to Writers and Editors, 32
Ellen White believed that the pioneers of the Great Second Advent Movement were important voices not only for their day, but for our day as well. She specifically instructs, “that their voices are to be heard.”
With that in mind, it is with great excitement that I am announcing today a partnership between AudioVerse and Adventist Pioneer Library to accomplish this very thing.
Adventist Pioneer Library (APL) is a ministry dedicated to the republication and digitization of the writings of the pioneers and the expansion of their reach into different languages around the world. Currently, led by Uriel Vidal and operated by his dedicated team in Brazil, this ministry is comprised of three branches:
To find out more details about their ministry, you can read their recent newsletter here:
APL and EllenWhiteAudio.org have created audiobooks for many of their publications, and they have graciously partnered with AudioVerse to enable them to be made freely available on our platform for all our users.
Besides the many pioneer books, they also have many Spirit of Prophecy books that we will be able to share with you as well.
We are still in the process of uploading the scores of audiobooks they’ve made available, but as of this newsletter, the following books are available:

APL’s library also extends to many languages, which AudioVerse will also make available on our non-English language sites as well.

We are to repeat the words of the pioneers in our work , who knew what it cost to search for the truth as for hidden treasure, and who labored to lay the foundation of our work. - Review and Herald, May 25, 1905
APL and EllenWhiteAudio.org have been at this work for many years now, and it is through great sacrifice and expense that they have been able to produce all of these rich resources and to make them freely available to the church. However, for their work to continue and for the words of the pioneers in our work to be repeated, they require ongoing financial support.
So as a fellow partner in this great work, we encourage you to support them by visiting their donate page, signing up for their newsletter to stay abreast of their developments, and to consider a financial gift to keep their work going forward:
And if you would like to support AudioVerse so we can develop more partnerships like this and to make more valuable content like this available to the world, you may give at our donate page by credit/debit card or ACH transfer, and if you are concerned about the credit card transaction fees, you may give via our PayPal Giving Fund page . Or you may send a check to AudioVerse at our address below.
Keep checking back on our audiobooks library as we will be releasing many more audiobooks in the months to come!
Yours in the blessed hope,
